Organics Diversion Pathway
A dedicated food waste collection and routing pathway for kitchens, canteens, and hospitality operations serious about their diversion rate.
What this is
Specialised collection, handling, and transfer of food and organic waste streams from commercial kitchen and F&B environments to licensed organic processing facilities in the UAE.
Food waste is the single largest waste stream in UAE hospitality and F&B. It is also the stream most frequently landfilled despite organic processing infrastructure existing in the region — simply because dedicated collection routing doesn't exist at most sites.
The problem it solves
Food waste mixed with dry recyclables contaminates the entire collection. Without a dedicated organics pathway, the stream defaults to landfill regardless of what the bins say.

Frequently asked questions
  • What counts as organic waste?
Food preparation waste, plate waste, spoiled produce, coffee grounds, and similar biodegradable kitchen material. Not packaging, not grease trap waste (handled separately).
  • Where does the food waste go?
To a licensed organics processing facility in the UAE — composting or anaerobic digestion depending on stream composition. We document the destination at every transfer.
  • Do you handle grease and liquids?
Grease trap waste is a separate regulated stream. We can assess and advise, but dedicated grease handling requires specialist licensing we can refer you to.
